PGAI Professional
Odin Antonino Urso began playing golf in the summer of 2014 under the guidance of coach Roberto Paris at Adriatic Golf Club Cervia. From January 2015, he trained with coach Emanuele Canonica at Golf Club Argentario, remaining there until October 2016, when he started working under the supervision of coach Andrea Canessa until March 2020.
Since April 2020, he has been coached by Alessandro Bandini, coach of the Italian National Amateur Team.
In 2016, he won the Tuscan Regional Team Championship with Golf Club Argentario, followed in 2017 by his first national victory at Golf Club Bogliaco. Odin also reached the Quarter Finals of the Italian Championships and competed in four professional events (two Alps Tour events, ECCO Tour Qualifying School and Alps Tour Qualifying School), narrowly missing advancement to the second stage by a single stroke.
In 2021, Odin finished 52nd in the national ranking and, in July, qualified for admission to the National School of Golf Professionals, placing second in the playing test with a total score of −1 (287 strokes), securing one of ten available spots. In October, representing his club Parco di Roma, he became Italian Champion by competing in the European Men’s Club Trophy as part of the Italian team. The team finished 14th out of 23 and subsequently entered Alps Tour Qualifying School, where Odin passed the first stage but missed the cut at the second, earning Category 9 status for the following season.
On 29 June 2022, Odin officially turned professional (click here to view the Official Register of Golf Professionals) after completing the professional training programme at the National School of Golf Professionals.
In February 2024, he concluded his role as Golf Professional at Le Vigne Golf Club in Villafranca di Verona, and in March 2024 began his appointment as Golf Professional at Verdura Resort, part of the Rocco Forte Hotels group where he now serves as Director of Golf Instruction & Head Golf Professional.
